I put this is the frig at the same time I installed the vent fan so don't know how much it contributed but it didn't hurt.

It is a tight fit on the Jayco trailer but by moving the power pack a bit it will go in. With the Texas sun beating down (103 degrees) the frig temp dropped to 35 and stayed there.
