Form and function were the same. It looked to be made of slightly heavier material. It turned out to be about an inch longer than the one it was replacing. Screwed a small shim to the wall behind the back of the tank and the strap to take up the slack. Now I have a securely held tank that is easy to latch and unlatch.

This strap looks to be made better than the one that was installed on my trailer and broke. The strap seems to be a little bit thicker. (No scientific measurement made)
